About Me
My passion for breeding, training and showing dogs is in my blood.
My mom started showing dogs as a kid and continued the tradition with me. We started with Australian Shepherds way before they were recognized by AKC. In the old photo that’s me third from the left doing what I thought was a “beautiful” job presenting my first love, ASCA CH Chilton’s Tapestry of Hazelwood (my mom is the fourth from the left with the perfectly presented dog). My mom and I bred and showed Aussies for many years and I made true friends along the way. I took a break from showing dogs, but I never lost my love for dogs. I decided to do something totally different and got my first Frenchie, Bijou, in 2010.
I bought her on a show contract that required she be shown, and it only took about two dog shows before the dog show bug bit me again. Being highly competitive, I decided that I needed another Frenchie and reached out to Juanita and Vince Imperiale. After a “job interview” during which Juanita and the puppy had to like me, I was allowed to bring Finn home in 2011. The next year, Finn was Winner’s Dog at the 2012 National Specialty under famed Judge Michele Billings and I’ve never looked back. In 2016 I decided that my Frenchies were capable of more than being just pretty, and started getting involved in Performance Events, which I have grown to love. They have earned titles in Obedience, Rally, Lure Coursing, and Barn Hunt, helping break stereo types by showing that they are smart and athletic. I owe my success to Juanita Imperiale who has been an amazing mentor and friend, providing me with beautiful Frenchies. And also, to Debbie Boehm who has trained me (and the Frenchies), proving that they are capable of achieving high levels in Performance Sports.
This is my hobby and my passion, and I occasionally have a litter to create my next generation for showing and performance. If you are interested in additional information about planned litters, please contact me at:
